Metric: Stadium Love Meaning
Stadium Love Lyrics
We'll be neck and neck
Taking off the gloves
Spider Vs Bat
Tiger Vs Rat
Rabbit Vs Dove
Wanna make a bet
Odds are neck and neck
Taking off the gloves
Spider Vs Bat
Tiger Vs Rat
Owl Vs Dove
Every living thing...
-
In the song it says, "Every living thing pushed into the ring" It seems like it is talking about how people force animals to fight against their will. They are being pushed into the ring. Then the "No one's getting out without stadium love" and that seems to be talking about how there are people at a stadium of some sort watching the animals fighting. If the people love an animal and want that animal to win maybe they will cheer for it and the people hosting the fight will make sure that animal is alive and stays healthy so people will pay to see the animal fight again. If for some reason everyone hates a certain animal, there's no point for it to be kept since it will only get in the way. More evidence of this is the "Wanna make a deal" and "Wanna make a bet" part of it. This is probably referring to how people will bet on the fights on the animals, guessing who they think will win.
