Muse: New Born Meaning
New Born Lyrics
Link it to yourself
Stretch it like a birth squeeze
The love for what you hide
The bitterness inside
Is growing like the newborn
When you've seen, seen
Too much too young, young,
Soulless is everywhere.
Hopeless...

#1 top rated interpretation:I think New Born is about how the new generations are born in a world where they see everything too soon, where they're corrupted earlier... It's about how easily and quickly you lose your innocence and peace in this modern world, and how modern people is full of stress and hate. That's what it tells me.
This is my favorite Muse song ever. There are times I get a certain Muse song stuck in my head for days or even weeks, but New Born always drags my heart and ears back to it; it will always hold the "favorite" title.
I love everything in it, the desperate and hateful lyrics, the beautiful piano intro, the chaotic guitar, the agitating drums, the insane riffs, deep bass, the yelling, the slightly psychotic fading outro. LOVE IT. I always get hyper when I listen to it, and almost fainted when I heard it live. And I'm not easy to impress... -
