Muse: Plug In Baby Meaning
Plug In Baby Lyrics
The underneath is no big surprise
Now it's time for changing
And cleansing everything
To forget your love
My plug in baby
Crucifies my enemies
When I'm tired of giving
My plug in baby
In unbroken virgin...

Watch the video it's about a "female" robot. You see like a ton of girls in his house and then at the end you see that they are all half robot hence "unbroken virgin reality". Hes in love with a robot which can't love back ("ive seen your love mine is gone") and and so he's trying to forget about it. I think "the underneath's no big surprise" means that just as it has false love, underneath it is a false human. By knowing that it can't have real love he's "exposed its lies". I guess you can also compare this to him loving a girl who doesn't love him back.

This song is about a girl who will go with you whenenver you want, you can split up with her time and time again but you can just go back to her and she'll be ready for you. Hence "plug in baby". If you read through the lyrics you can see how that fits with my theory.

Well.. I've got a different opinion of my own. It's about a girl who's playing hard to get or "virgin" or something but this guy has understood her game and is tired of it. It's all about stupid girls.
