Muse: Uprising Meaning
Uprising Lyrics
The PR transmissions will resume
They'll try to, push drugs that keep us all dumbed down
And hope that, we will never see the truth around
(so come on)
Another promise, another seed
Another, packaged lie to keep us...

This song is about the New World Order that's brewing! Check out their website and they have a link to Infowars.com which is a conspiracy theorists site!

Green equals the fake environmental movement and red equals state sponsored Communist/Marxist/Leninist movements. It's obvious they both go hand-in-hand. Both are designed to enslave.
The song could be about corporations but then it would mean that the band is stupid, considering they are either corporate or on the verge of becoming corporate...LOL. "those evil corporations, all they care about is making money, snarl snarl."
Really, the Illuminati? Give me a break. Just remember green=environmental and red=communism, both want to control you, both want to degrade you and your standard of living, the green movement fat cats want to force you into buying items "they" approve and living the way they say you can and the red movement communists want to tell you what kind of job you can have, where you can live, how much you can make, what you can watch, what you can say, what you can do... and they'll do it by force (the barrel of a gun) if necessary...
If you disagree then you are a racist!..lol. -
Nice to know the youth see what's going on with the secret agendas illuminati etc after 18 month research I've no doubt what we hear and see on regular tv and news is mostly bullshit and has nothing to do with real policies that are being brought down on the people most of which with out our knowledge ive always felt something not right in this world now I know up with the non violent rebellion and masses of people simply saying no no we wont and give us back our money fucking bankers and lets do away with the need for bankers and banks .

Oh for christ sake's with the damn illuminati references. They are not operating in secret, they are in plain sight and some of them held office for 8 years. It's about corporate control and media mind control just as people have stated above. Take religion out of the equation and stop regurgitating sites like david icke and vigilant citizen who monetizes his site to make commissions off of his readers ANYWAY and writes with a SEVERE Christian bias. That's taking advantage of capitalism just like anyone else if you ask me.
Belamy is talking about your third eye, opening up yourself to consciousness and becoming aware of who we are. Focus on your spiritual growth and awareness. Realize that you have the power to create your life as you want it. You don't have to buy into the mind viruses that they tap into with NLP techniques. -
Don't put to much thought into it, this song could be about any one or anything that is holding you back that you either are or are trying to break free from.

Extreme threat is right

I think it is to say'we won't give in!'
-
This song is referring to an uprising against the Illuminati. Call me crazy but read the lyrics. No subliminal needed; it's right in your face. This band has my respect all the way.

Green belts wrapped around our minds--I think this is a reference to GE's Six Sigma quality program which most large companies have adopted in some form or another. Green Belt certification is the first major milestone for the employee learning this program. Basically a framework for corporate quality improvements. And I love this reference because I have seen Six Sigma overused and overtaught. Red tape keeping people from cutting to the chase and creatively solving problems on their own without a "Champion" or "Black Belt" overseeing every step.
