I think it’s about regret obviously and I like to imagine their late vocalist is who they somehow could relate to at this point like as though he didn’t want to have any more regrets than he did before he felt there was no positive way forward… because he couldn’t at the time connect with anyone or express his various issues and dreams within a conflict between love and work…depression/sadness and hope … a light at the end of the tunnel
