Niall Horan: Too Much To Ask Meaning
Song Released: 2017
Too Much To Ask Lyrics
Only yesterday we were on the run
You smile back at me and your face lit up the sun
Now I'm waiting here for someone
And oh, love, do you feel this rough?
Why's it only you I'm thinking of
My shadow's...

#1 top rated interpretation:Too Much To Ask is about a guy who broke up with his old lover a long time ago. He misses her and wants to have fun and live his life with her but she's already moved on. This song is super sad because I know a lot of relationships end like this where one moves on and the other gets kind of depressed and just sad. He's trying to ask her to forgive him and get back together. He thinks about all the memories that they've had like exploring, watching sunsets, and watching movies together. He thinks about her so much he begins to hallucinate that she's really there. And he hopes she still thinks about him. I love this song and hope you enjoy my interpretation of this amazing song

This song is about a guy trying to get over an ex( most likely because he made the mistake of breaking up with her and that he regrets either breaking up with her or not trying to get her back). He is asking her to come to him and tell him all of her regrets if their relationship and saying “Is that too much to ask?” His heart is hoping that she will come back to him.
