She Keeps Me Up Lyrics

She's got me nervous
Talkin' a hundred miles an hour
She's more than worth it
I swear she smells just like a flower
I'd fall to pieces if I went anywhere without her
I love when she says, what's wrong with right here on the counter?
Funky...

He literally references Coca Cola who used cocaine when they were first making it. It's cocaine.Ots drugs. A ton of rock songs pass off a relationship with drugs as a romantic one. Addiction. It's real folks.

Literally this song clicks when you look at the lyrics and replace "she" with "cocaine." It has nothing to do with a real woman. Love it.

He's talking about his girlfriend who keeps him up, she keeps him awake at night, she keeps him up as in sex as well so he can't sleep at night because she keeps him up wanting sex he can't trust his friends because she is what everybody chases/wants. They all want her.

He's saying that "she keeps him up" in several ways. she keeps him up, as in, awake all night. and as in,ready for sex. and as in, trying to keep up with her. because he sees that she's got it all and everybody wants her.
