#1 top rated interpretation:This song is about some form of friends with benefits relationship.
The first verse is pretty self explanatory. He has given up on love because he was messing with people that broke his heart. It appears that he was into drugs. When she says "I felt him, helped him
Put him on lock, seat-belt him..." It explaining their relationship as friends how she has felt his emotions, helped him out, settled him down, and protected him.
The hook is basically saying that when guys call out to her she's only paying attention to him. But when he says "this ain't high school," he is talking about that she is acting like a high schooler, prissy, immature, bossy, uptight, and a drama queen. Then she is saying he can have her when ever he wants and that anywhere and everywhere is his world.
He is saying that she has guys waiting to get with her, her best friend is as lesbian and they've had sex a few times, he's noticed that the girl and her mom are alike so they fight all the time. When she tells him, "Make me a wife." (his wife) she is joking, but hinting that she wants to be his only one. He tells her that she's crazy because he has given up on love. And she tells him he's the only one she is with but he says "What about them niggas?" asking about her other "guy friends". But she denys that there is anyone else. When he says "She love me like a brother
But fuck me like a husband," it explains their relationship as caring about each other like family but are attracted to each other like spouses. When it says "She tell me that it's mine
I tell her, "Stop lying."
Mine and who else?" She is telling him again that she is only with him, but he doesn't believe her, jealously he thinks about who else she is with.
On the last verse she is taking about how they are about to have sex. -
