Bless The Child Lyrics

"I was born amidst the purple waterfalls.
I was weak, yet not unblessed.

"The video for this song tells a sad love story in reverse, it's a mix between the scenes and the band playing in a disused warehouse. The band was a bit disappointed with the video, because they found it to be a bit too complex"

This is what i found in wikipedia.

This song somehow reminds me of the baby Jesus. "Gone back in time to bless the child" makes me think of one's desire to see the baby and meet him. A lot of NWs old songs seem to hide religious meaning.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

The lyrics and video of the song do not seem to correspond to each other, but I think it is about 2 people who are in love, and eventually get married against everyone's wishes(the empty Church in the video),and for some reason, the boy kills the girl, and either out of fear or guilt, commits suicide. The sequence of events are shown in a retrospective manner,i.e., from what happens in the end to what happens at the beginning.
