Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off Lyrics
And all you think about in bed?
When the lights are dim and your hands are shaking as you're sliding off your dress
Think of what you did
And how I hope to God he was worth it
When the lights are dim and...

I was just at the Vegas concert, and Brendan introduced it as "sometimes, you see someone walking down the street and you just say 'hey, lets f***!' and then you do, and that is what this song is about." But that is just according to him.

ok first of all about the guy that slammed panic! just cause you don't like them dosnt mean you need to talk shit about them cause there are people who will beat you for saying that about bands they like and second of all i also like most of the bands you like so.... people can like all different kinds of music and just cause someone likes panic! dosn't mean their emo and about the people being asses to him he dose have a right to his oppinon just this may not have been the best place to post it.......
and for what the song means..... i think its about a girl who did a guy in a one night stand trying to get over her ex but he really wanted her back but not after her cheating and the chorus is pretty much just saying hold what you have close and dont fuck it up........ well thats it! goodbye all! i love you all (even the p!atd hater) and um... ceack out my other song meanings please -
The song is about how a man was loyal to his wife , but his wife had sex with numerous other guys. The man found out and killed himself. Then the woman realized none of the guys were worth it. She kills her self too because she lost one of the most important things to her.
-
I mean, isnt it kind of obvious? boy and girl were together, she cheated on him, they break up. Now shes stuck with the guy she cheated on boy with. Boy knows he is much better than the other guy ("i got more wit, a better kiss, a hotter touch, a better fuck, than any boy youll ever meet"). He is asking her if it was worth it in the end to cheat, because she had him, who was the best. Girl knows boy is better too, but she doesnt want to admit it.
The line in the movie that the title comes from is "lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off, but its better if you do." so the "sequel" to this song is but its better if you do, where the boy goes to a strip club cuz he feels lonely and to show the girl what she did to him.
Oh panic!, you are brilliant. ;) -
A boy and girl were going out. Then the girl goes out and cheats on him.
This ruins their relationship, so her ex is saying that she should think of the consequences and that he hopes it was worth it. He then says that he's better than any other guy, and that she'll regret it for the rest of her life.
The chorus is about guys only thinking about sex and girls all being just actors and pretending to love.
The second part is returning to how he dumps her. She's shocked and probably thought that he wouldn't dump her even after she cheats on him because she means enough to him to get away with it.
He's saying that she shouldn't think so much of herself.

This song is amazing how it can relate lying to sex, the entire first stanza is about the confrontation of having to ask if the girl is still thinking of the guy, instead of the many she's slept with. And of course, the pre-chorus will always say, that "He" is the the one that she accually loves, and she'll never be able to forget about him, regardless of how many men she sleeps with.
In addition, the frase "Where the shock sets in, and the stomach acid finds a new way to make you get sick" Is something that you feel both when you're found in a lie, as well as when you're about to have an orgasm and you're holding your breath. -
This is a song about young love. The narrator grew very close to and even fell in love with a girl. The girl broke up with him. The part about exchanging body heat in the passenger seat shows there is still tension between them. Also, they didn't end on bad terms like her cheating him. Maybe because he was too into her or for another reason like she just wanted to be friends. But the part "look past the sweat, a better love deserving of" makes it seem like he had romantic ideals, while she got cold feet for some reason. When she did move on, the new guy meant nothing except a distraction from the past. He's not saying he really is better in bed when he says he's got a better fuck, he saying that he cared so it was special. Someone who really cares is rare (especially with teens) and she threw it away. Her stomach gets upset because the new men are purely carnal pleasure, they don't even really know her, so it feels wrong. The chorus is saying that boys are fueled by lust and girls but on a flashy, colorful facade to impress them. The part about the camera man swing the focus and not letting her kill the chorus means that the chorus is about a wide-spread issue and not just her, or the two of them for that matter. The chorus itself means one of two things. It is either saying that that's just how romance is sometimes and you should take the chance anyway. Once again, the teen hearts at the beginning of the chorus implies that this is especially true for young love. They could also be challenging the young lovers. Asking if they will try to not hurt someone the same way and be fueled purely by lust. Saying they shouldn't fall into this sad trend, and really care for their lover that they tell them to hold close. Either way, the fact that he asks if they will dance to this beat shows that he is asking a question to the audience, as opposed to just instructing them

I just don't understand the fish?
-
This song is a part of the trilogy and takes place before the wedding, which means the groom overlooked his cheating girlfriends acts and continued on towards a wedding. But anyways this song is simple to understand the girl cheats and the boy is asking her if she is sure of what she did and if it was worth losing him over. (And just in case you were wondering about the video the fish in the tank represent how many people that person has slept with. As time goes on the girl gets more and more fish in her tank meaning that she was cheating on him. So he ends up killing himself over it and her feeling guilty about it kills herself also.)
-
If you watch the music video the fish I believe represent how many affairs or how many people they did the dude saw how many fishes where in the girls talk (only 1 was in his)

This song is about Backstabbing, Jealousy and Regret. It begins with the narrator talking about his situation as it would be depicted on film.
Secretly he is talking about the girl that deceitfully cheated on him when he states "Am I who you think about in bed
When the lights are dim and your hands are shaking as you're sliding off your dress
Then think of what you did
And how I hope to God he was worth it" If the girl is going to cheat he wants to make sure it was worth it because he will never return to her.
He then states "Oh now I do recall, we were just getting to the part
Where the shock sets in, and the stomach acid finds a new way to make you get sick.
I hope you didn't expect that you'd get all of the attention.
Now let's not get selfish
Did you really think I'd really let you kill this chorus?". This is where the girl gets caught. maybe not by the singer but by her own conscience at least and she is feeling horrible about the act of cheating that she just participated in. -
Is it still me that makes you sweat
Am I who you think about in bed
When the lights are dim and your hands are shaking as you're sliding off your dress
Then think of what you did
And how I hope to God he was worth it
When the lights are dim and your heart is racing as your fingers touch your skin
I've got more wit, a better kiss, a hotter touch, a better fuck
Than any boy you'll ever meet, sweetie you had me
Girl I was it, look past the sweat, a better love deserving of
Exchanging body heat in the passenger seat
No, no, no you know it will always just be, me
Let's get these teen hearts beating, faster, faster
So testosterone boys and harlequin girls
Will you dance to this beat, and hold a lover close
So testosterone boys and harlequin girls
Will you dance to this beat, and hold a lover close
So I guess we're back to us, oh cameraman, swing the focus
In case I lost my train of thought, where was it that we last left off
(Let's pick up, pick up)
Oh now I do recall, we just were getting to the part
Where the shock sets in, and the stomach acid finds a new way to make you get sick
I hope you didn't expect that you'd get all of the attention
Now let's not get selfish
Did you really think I’d let you kill this chorus
Let's get these teen hearts beating, faster, faster
So testosterone boys and harlequin girls
Will you dance to this beat, and hold a lover close
So testosterone boys and harlequin girls
Will you dance to this beat, and hold a lover close
Dance to this beat
Dance to this beat
Dance to this beat
Let's get these teen hearts beating, faster, faster
Let's get these teen hearts beating, faster
I've got more wit, a better kiss, a hotter touch, a better fuck
Than any boy you'll ever meet, sweetie you had me
Girl I was it, look past the sweat, a better love deserving of
Exchanging body heat in the passenger seat
No, no, no you know it will always just be, me
Let's get these teen hearts beating, faster, faster

So testosterone boys and harlequin girls
Dance to this beat
And hold a lover close
Let's get these teen hearts beating, faster, faster
Let's get these teen hearts beating, faster
let's get these teen hearts beating faster faster --- I adore this song but I think it's about this guy who was going out with this girl - and then for some strange reason she cheats on him with this guy who barely means anything to her - and the whole testosterone boys and harlequin girls is all like 'playas' and 'playboys' - and it's all about the guy being all mean to her cause she left him for someone who is so not the one for her - 'you know it will always just be me' -
ok, i know a lot of people think ryan just wrote a story and stuff, but this song was a personal expierience for him. this was about jac vanek, who cheated on him while he was writing the first cd
-
I think this song is about a couple. And the girl cheats on the guy.
And the song is basically saying "I'm better than him! You had me, but you lost me because you cheated!" -
About the video:
Well I saw this interpretation on iTunes. The fish in the fishtank represent the number of people that they've had sex with. The water in the fishtank represent their lives (supposedly on the background you could see an old lady whose tank had very little water, but I couldn't see that). So the guy commited suicide because the girl cheated on him, and after seeing that her lover was dead, she killed herself as well (by emptying the water in her fishtank). Then the ocean represents heaven, where they stay together. Maybe that's why the girl appears to be still alive: they're not alive, it's just their souls in heaven.
Well that's the interpretation I saw and that made a lot of sense to me. =)
