   I think it means she's either praying to someone by the name Mary A who took their own life or Hail Mary either way she is praying to them about the chaos and catastrophe and asking them how they knew when their time was right

   well, i think it depends on your experience in life. if you happen to be a very anxious person, like me, than you may see it as this:
   Mary A (who P!nk is praying to), has committed suicide so she ca escape from this world, filled with chaos and noise, because she just couldn't handle it and she found it was the only way out. And P!nk has found that the world is also chaotic and crazed, so she is asking how to get out, while at the same time she knows she can make it through without doing what Mary A had done.
   Just what I see from it.

   i think it means hail mary and she is asking her how she escaped the world and its evil. pink is also asking her how did you know when the time was right to go. thats what my dad told me

   It is a beautiful song. Ave Mary A might be someone she knew and has passed away. OR She is just saying how terrifying the world has become with people dieing and losing your loved ones.

   I think the reason she says and spells it "Mary A" instead of "Maria" is because she is highlighting a disconnect from fundamental beliefs and values, which she portrays through lack of knowledge about even the most basic religious knowledge.

   this song is about how crazy life can be at times people being shot at schools ect. and this is really upsiting her she needs someone to tell her come down child it well be okay .shes trying to make sense of everything and she cant
