Pink: Fucking Perfect Meaning
Fucking Perfect Lyrics
Once or twice
Dug my way out
Blood and fire
Bad decisions
That's alright
Welcome to my silly life
Mistreated, misplaced,
Misunderstood
Miss knowing it's all good
It didn't slow me down.
Mistaken
Always second...

Pink is definitely singing to her soon-to-be baby in her stomach, telling her that no matter what, if you ever feel like your not perfect you're fucking perfect to her, no matter what. Because i think pink had a hard time growing up, and the teenager in the video was her as a teen and she never wants her to daughter to feel like she did as a teen-not perfect. She never wants her daughter to feel like shes not perfect, because no matter what she'll always be perfect to her. and thats what i think it is... this song is amazing no matter what it really means c:

I believe it's about her life but at the same time it leaves a message to not only the people who can relate to the song but also her daughter that she is currently carrying in her womb <3

I just think that Pink is trying to say, you're perfect in your own way. I think she felt diffrent, not beautiful enough or whatever. Just like the girl in the video, she was trying to fit in. But she actually didn't. She wasn't happy with herself at all. But she was and is perfect. That's what Pink is trying to say. Don't try to fit in, don't try to look beautiful like them other girls/boys.. You're just perfect. You just got to accept who you are and who you look. Be yourself and it will be okay.

The song is fuckin perfect! :) i think its about the dark times as a teen, trying to fit in etc. and how growing up we try and try to make ourselves better when we're already perfect in our own way.

I think that this song is going out to others to think good of yourself and not push yourself to be like someone who may be prettier or skinnier. Maybe when she was younger she did the same thing? And now when she looks back on it she doesn't want others to make the same mistakes that she did?
-
I also think it is a message she was trying to send to her daughter or child. As the video was playing my little girl was running around and looking at her no matter who she was, what she did... I could never think she was anything less than perfect.! However I also felt that a lot might have to do with herself. Where maybe she did not feel like she was adequate enough to please those around her. And going back to the message to her child and or others; no matter what they will always be perfect in her eyes. Unconditional love.

I think it's written to her daughter. She's pregnant now, and has said she thinks she is having a girl. In the video, the main teenage girl goes through similar things as Pink dealt with in her own life growing up, and then it all culminates with her going into her daughter's room and saying she's perfect. So I think this is sort of like Pink's life, and the message she hopes she can pass on to her own daughter.

I couldn't tell you for sure if the song is about pink ....but I think that the song is dedicated to teenagers who aren't often understood and who are not allowed to experiment with different things and find themselves(it's a normal faze that every teenager experiences) ... those who are, in some way different (like emos, which is shown in the video) and have a desire to show it but were stoped by persons who think that that's not normal(in this case it's the girls mother) ... maybe this song is a support to them and that pink tells them that those things are so normal and that they have every right to be different.... anyway I hope that you understooded what meant(because english is not my best known language.. :) ) and this song is one of my favourites... ^_^

I think it may be another song to here baby giving her advice and telling her to keep her head high even in bad situations. Ofcourse, pink put her own spin on it however

I have a feeling that it is about her, because she says why do I do that in one of the lyrics. But she could also be talking about someone else. It kind of seems like she's referring to herself in the third person in a way. I say this because raise your glass even though its more of a party song the chorus "So raise your glass if you are wrong,In all the right ways,All my underdogs,We will never be never be anything but loud And nitty gritty dirty little freaks" its like she was an outcast or something. I don't know thats just my interpretation.
-
i think it means that she thinks the person she loves is 'fucking perfect' and nothing less.
-
I believe they are encouraging lyrics in light of the recent gay teen suicides. Thank you, Pink.

I've watched the video for the song and based on that and the tone to the song, it seems like it was written for someone else, most likely someone close to her, and also obviously intended as a message for listeners. I of course can't say for sure, but it's amazing song nonetheless.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
