Lady Marmalade Lyrics
Hey Sister, Go Sister, Soul Sister, Sister Flow
He met Marmalade down in Old New Orleans
Struttin' her stuff on the street
She said "Hello,
Hey Joe, you wanna give it a go?" oh

This song, which was originally a Seventies hit LaBelle (a soul trio led by Patti LaBelle), tells the story of a middle aged white businessman who takes a trip to New Orlens, where he meets a mulatto prostitute who calls herself Lady Marmalade.
She propositions passersby in French, saying "Voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir?" (Translatedm that means, "Do you want to go to bed with me tonight?")
The aforementioned businessman takes her up on the offer, and has a wild night with her.
But now, months afterward, even though he's back at home living a normal life with a normal family and an ordinary 9 to 5 job, he's still obsessed by the memory of that passionate night he spent with Lady Marmalade.
