Slut Like You Lyrics

I'm not a slut, I just love love

Tell me something new
Cause I've heard this
Okay I'll fuck you
A little taste test
You'll be my little friend
You'll be my little friend
You'll be my little friend

And they think we fall in love
But...

I disagree that this is about slut shaming. Like yeah, she kinda addresses the double standard. But I think it's more about how guys think that getting a girl into bed is like a prize and they're so charming for being able to "fool" a girl into bed. I've always interpreted this as saying "don't think you're so cool. I had already decided I wanted to sleep with you before you came over here." Her and her friends are described as "picking who they might let in." There's a very weird thing in our society where we believe that women only have sex when there's emotion involved, and she challenges this saying "they think we fall in love, but that's not it. Just wanna get some. Ain't that some shit." She's saying that women are just as capable having meaningless sex as men are, and men are the true fools in the scenario for letting it inflate to their ego. It's "some shit" that women are only seen as emotional entities, when really they're just looking to "get some," like men. When all is said and done and she's gone the next morning she says "looks like the jokes on you," meaning that he can think he's being suave making her fall in love to decieve her into bed but really she was decieving him pretending to have such emotion when she blatantly did not give a fuck about him. She's a slut, just like him and it meant nothing.

As i agree with the two previous interpretation of this song, i think in my opinion, the song is about that men and women can be sluts although these days, males don't face the same Shutshaming as women do. She is saying that they are both sluts and neither are any worst in comparison to each other.
The quote 'You don't win a prize with your googly eyes, I'm not a cracker jack, You can't go inside, Unless I let you Jack... or Sam, F*ck what's your name again?'suggests that even though she would appear to have a 'slutty' reputation, it doesn't mean that you can just 'go inside'. Regardless of her sexual experiences or rep, what she wears, anything, she still doesn't deserve to be sexually assaulted and being blamed for being a 'slut'.
I love this song, because Pink takes a topic of today and societies views and takes a stand. Love her to bits! <3

I think this song is saying that men are sluts too and I thought that she thought that they were in love and its okay for men to sleep around and women can't well without being a so called slut but without "sluts" there would be no reason for a man to be proud when he's the real slut and just like men stereo type women women can categorize men and we all get a piece so its her way of saying fuck you you're a slut too and I can get a piece of you and most girls do it out of an act of love and men just want some so let's all be sluts together you are no better than me

All these male singers sing about sex and girls that they will never meet again. So this is her little immature feminist way (Her own words) of taking the power.
Basically "Slut like you" Is aimed at men who sleep around without falling in love, she is saying women can do that too but are considered "sluts", whereas men are not.
    I personally think it's a beautiful interpretation of today's society ;D
