Karma Police Lyrics

Karma police, arrest this man
He talks in maths
He buzzes like a fridge
He's like a detuned radio

Karma police, arrest this girl
Her Hitler hairdo is
Making me feel ill
And we have crashed her party

This is what you'll get
This is...

I think that this song represent the fact that there are people who live soley for their payroll job. "He talks in math, and buzzes like a fridge", means that they lose themselves in the long process of learning to perform on a job ultimately to support the comfort of their life rather than the comfort of their feelings and self expression. Who wants to listen to a bunch of spoken number gibberish at a party?.. NO ONE.

Partying is a place on the weekend for you to have your time to be yourself. That is an example of this person being a victim of karma by looseing hisself in hard work of good intention for a job working for someone else...
re. "loosing yourself cause your on the payroll"

"Her hitler hairdo, is making me feel ill"... I think that has something to do with models being what hitler originally intended to build... The Arian race, a race of beautiful people. And about how we support beautiful people rather than intelligence in our media.

And how this compairs to the man is that she just has to "look" a certain way and recieve a comfortable payroll, while he has to loose his personality to keep up to and understand the math in modern day science.

    Message me if you agree.

I think that Karma Police has a very obvious meaning. He is just plainly personifying Karma and giving examples of when it makes a cameo appearance. Such as the girl with the Hitler hairdo. Alot of people are aware of Hitler's reputation, and I think that Thom meant to use him as a reference to someone who Karma should bite on the ass. So, I just think most of the song is either just filler lyrics that sound incredible, and some are actually symbolic of Karma situations.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
