Secondhand Serenade: It's Not Over Meaning
It's Not Over Lyrics
And no, I'm not the one to blame
It's you ' or is it me?
And all the words we never say
Come out and now we're all ashamed
And there's no sense in playing games
When you've done all you can do
But now...

It means like this guy's relationship isn't over even though they broke up, even though he still wants to go back to her. he wants to die because he isn't with her anymore.
-
It hits somewhere else for me. Like he's going through hell and he's just done. Especially from this line "I'm shaking from this pain that's in my head, I just wanna crawl into my bed and throw away the life I've lead, but I won't let it die". But that's just how I feel, I know it's probably not its intention but it kinda makes me think of that.

it means that they have hit rock bottom dating but he doesnt want this to happen because he loves her but they are always fighting that he feels so much pain he juusts want to leave this place he says its not over because he can't live without her he will keep trying to light the flame again he doesnt understand what happened because they were so much in love that he is dieing inside its never over to him unless she gives up on this love he says it will never be over 3
