Seether: Tonight Meaning
Song Released: 2011
Tonight Lyrics
This opportunity's mine
I'm sick of complaining
About a beautiful life
How did we get here?
Did we forget all the things inside?
And how do we stay here?
Do we embrace all the things denied?
I feel so alive...

My interpretation is that the guy has found love and there is no greater feeling to him right now..."I'm not gonna waste this. This opportunity is mine." Love is hard to come by and even more so when its the genuine article. He goes on to sing..."I feel so alive tonight. You got me feeling sublime. I wanna yell it from the rooftops down...." And the only thing he wants to know from her as he expressed his feeling like so, and the lyrics go...."If I were to die tonight, would it tear you apart? Would you yell it from the rooftops down...." The genuine article cannot be a one way street as he is hoping that its not

well, i think this song is about love. it states "if i was to die tonight would it tear you apart?" and is basically saying, would you be upset if i died. It is also saying that they are lovers and their lives will collide because they love each other so much. And finally, the basic question is would you yell it from the rooftops all the way down. (hehehe this is my interpretation of the song.)

That odd feeling you get when everything's going perfect and you feel like it should last forever... It seems to be about a relationship in this song just starting off or something along those lines.
