   I think its about near-death experience,i have once nearly drowned, to the point of having halucinations (out of body experience) and at the end of it feeling euphoric (opioid-like euphoria)...I was able to got to surface when i was blacking out, i think the lyrics kinda fit that experience.

   Its exactly what the majority have written it about mushrooms or ayhuasca or both not so much and lsd thing. Because the psylocibin and dmt do exactly that create an ego death you do become enlighted in the darkness and it doesnt matter what season it is you can go into the natural and universal abyss any season youd like.
