Staind: Paper Wings Meaning
Song Released: 2011
Paper Wings Lyrics
You're fucking weak.
And I'm sick of it all.
Social anesthetic
To the people you meet.
And I'm sick of it all.
You're unapologetic
Even though you shouldn't be.
And I'm sick of it all.
You just don't get it
You never...

The end of an on-again-off-again situation when you're sick of games. If they are not prepared to fly with you then they should bugger off.

Falling faster...to learning...the truth is like Icarus falling into a black hole.
Though the observer from the outside may think they have accurately observed the person falling and think they can mirror this in the form of projecting what they percieve, this is not an accurate representation of Icarus.
You're so unreal, you drain me, you just don't get it, you cut me deep in some anesthetic haze of a dream is the equivalent of someone who once wanted to see the person soar, really has only given them paper wings. As you fall into the void, you did not calculate precisely the fall because you could not know how this person had fashioned the world and instead of trying with all of your might to escape, even with paper wings, you realize there is no hope and decide to just burn them just to spite the observer.
And obviously, he is sick of it all.
Hope this helps :) -
When your with a significant other or a friend and they bring misery and sorrow and use it to pretty much hurt you and wreck everything fun that they do with you. You get to a point were you break down and can't take it anymore. You give them time to change but, they don't because they are fucking self centered. So you tell them to cut the shit and just enjoy life and stop be miserable(make some paper wings and learn to fly) or hit the fucking road and take your misery and bitterness with you. (If there's no tomorrow,Burn your paper wings and say goodbye).
