    It's about being in a relationship with a narcissist.
    And you never get through to them because they have no empathy... That's why he's failing.

    Remember the cover to Chapter V? In particular the sides? Take a look at it. And remember the verses to a lot of songs off that album. In particular Cross to Bear and Paper Jesus.

    Aaron is in my opinion talking about the state of christianity. The apathetic and flippant demeanor with which people approach their belief systems. A lot of people who say they believe, but actions dont back it up. The chorus is from the perspective of God speaking to us all. Aaron Lewis is a christian....
