    This is open to interpretation but I personally feel it is about how the band almost broke up during the recording and the drummer left and whatnot. I feel like that's a big part of it just wondering how they could just throw it all away

    I'd say this is about how they almost broke up while recording the new album. but it could be about anything that has to do with ending something "throwing it all away"
