Taylor Swift: White Horse Meaning
Song Released: 2008
White Horse Lyrics
That face of an angel,
comes out,
Just when you need it to.
As I pace back and forth all this time,
'Cause I honestly believed in you.
Holding on,
The days drag on,
Stupid girl,
I should've known,
I should've...
-
I can really relate to this song. The first time I ever fell in love with a guy was ruined by his stupidity. He kept on trying to be friends with me and I got so agitated because he just didn't get it...just like Taylor. This song is more of a closure song, because she's realizing that life isn't how she thought it would be.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

I think. It's about a girl who has been dating this boy for a while, and she thinks he's the one. Until her frind told her that he's cheating. So she goes to his house to talk to him and a girl walks out. So she runs away. He tries to call her and appoligies but its too late. "Cuz I'm not youre princess this aint a fairytale. I'm gonna find someone someday who might actually treat me well." She saying I'm not yours anymore. I'm gonnna find someone who's gonna treat me so much better.

this song is about 'drew' from the song teardrops on my guitar. After taylor became famous, drew showed up to her house and told her he wanted to get with her. Taylor thought back to when she was so in lover with him and now hes here but not for just her, for her fame as well
-
I read somewhere that this song is about how she was dating this guy and she thought he was really great and all, but then her friend tells her that he was cheating on her. So he finds out that she knows and asks her to forgive him, but she says no because she really trusted him. So she's saying how she really loved him, but this isn't a fairytale; it's the real world, and in the real world things don't always work out the way you thought.
-
I think it is about a girl and guy that were together, and the guy breaks up with her and crushes her hope. She got really hurt, but eventually got over him and when she does, he begins to realize he really does like her, but she says it's too late for him. (It's my opinion of the song, so don't yell at me. It's what happened to a close friend of mine.)
-
I think this song is about a girl who finds out her boyfriend is cheating, and she's the "other woman". She's berating herself for getting played and because even after finding out, she'd hoped he'd realize he wanted to be with her, come back to her and apologize. When he finally does, she's already realized that she deserves better than him.
-
A girl likes a guy, who likes another girl, but knows the other girl likes him, and thinks she always will. But when the girl he was going out with breaks up with him, he turns to the first girl, expecting her immediately to go out with him, but she doesn't and is taking about how she's not going to just sit around and wait for him to come around.
