Taylor Swift: You're Not Sorry Meaning
You're Not Sorry Lyrics
I've been giving out chances every time and all you do is let me down,
And it's taken me this long, baby, but I figured you out
And you're thinking we'll be fine again but not this time...

She loves a guy who hurts her all the time. He tries to apologize again but she won't forgive him because she knows he'd just hurt her again.
-
You're not sorry is about how Taylor loved someone who kept making mistakes. She kept forgiving him, but eventually just said, "Alright. That's it. I'm done. I can't do this anymore. It hurts too bad." In the end this boy just sucked her dry. There was nothing left to beg for.

Your not sorry is about a boy who she fell in love with, and could have loved him all her life if he hadn't of lied to her repeatedly. We have all been lied to by someone we care about, and each time, you get that feeling of losing trust in them. It's the same idea in this song. This boy that she cared about used to be perfect and truthful (you used to shine so bright) but then he started lying to her, and eventually it got To a point where he lied so much that she couldn't trust him anymore, so she dumped him (and you got your share of secrets and I'm tired of being last to know .. / you can tell me that your sorry, but I wont believe you, baby, like I did before, your not sorry"

Taylor was dating a guy, thy started out fine but slowly he kept making the same mistak and she dumped him flat
*This song could be about Stephen Barker (aka the Stephen from; Hey Stephen)a quite from 'Hey Stephen'; But i never seen nobody SHINE like you
A quite from Your Not Sorry;
You used to SHINE so bright but I watched all of it fade
Could she be talking about Stephen in this song also? -
This is about a boy she truely deeply loves, but he hurts her over and over. Each time, he does the same thing, but he 'apologizes' to her, and because she really loves him, she wants to see the good in him, and hopes he will change. He doesnt change, and does the same thing over and over, so eventually she realizes that he's not really sorry, that she's been blinded by love to see who he truely was, that no matter what he says, he's NOT gonna change, so even though she loves him, she let's him go.

I have always loved listening to taylor's songs. And on days when i had a bad day at school i will put her albums on shuffle and sit in my room listening. Each of her songs can relate to about pretty much every suckish situation in a teen girl's life.
As i listened carefully to the lyrics of "You're Not sorry" i relized this was describing the same situation i was having with a guy who i really loved. He kept saying things to my friends about me behind my back. But when my friends told me all he had said i just wouldn't want to believe them.I thought a guy as sweet him could never hurt me.My friends would tell me everyday that i needed to confront him about everything, especially about the latest comment he had made. This hurt me so much, but one day after school when he began texting me, i let my feelings out.I told him i couldn't forgive him for this one, that i had believed him for as long as i could, but i couldn't take it anymore. I loved him so much that i didn't want to let him go, but this song taught me that in order to stay positive in life, you have to get rid of the things bringing you down. -
Your not sorry is about the guy she loves very much.
And belives him everytime he says sorry.
But finally she opens her eyes and sees that
he isn't sorry. So he gets dumped for lying
and not being honest. And for not trying
to change. -
It's about loving a guy who hurts you over and over again, but you still love him because he tells you that he's sorry, and won't do it again. Even though deep down you know he won't change, you keep hoping. Eventually, you realize that it's for the best to end it with him, because he doesn't really mean what he says.
-
That her boyfriend keeps messing up and he says he is sorry every time. She forgives him until he crosses the line and cant forgive him.
-
"you can tell me that your sorry but i won't believe you baby like i did before. you're not sorry"
i think this is about a boy who keeps making the same mistake over and over and he keeps telling her sorry and Taylor had always taken him back but not this time. cause if he was sorry he would not keep doing the same thing over and over and over. so he is not sorry
