The Ghost Song Lyrics

Awake.
Shake dreams from your hair
My pretty child, my sweet one.
Choose the day and choose the sign of your day
The days divinity
First thing you see.

A vast radiant beach in a cool jeweled moon
Couples naked race down by its quiet...

The biggest mystery for me is at the end.

“Thank you Lord for the White blind light.”

Has he discovered and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ?

Or is he thanking the Lord for giving him the Light bringer names “Lucifer”?

He died shortly after this spoken word was recorded..

I think its about being on a nude beach ,smoking weed and feeling young in love and free to vulnerable with the spirit of the Indian people around to make sense that its a spiritual awakening of ones inner self and that its a natural part of nature to feel freedom of vulnerability for others to see the way you came into the world and what better way than on a nude beach

    “Birth, Life, Death,
You might recall all of the rest”

    Listen. Look. Learn. Adjust.

    Stand up for something.

A visual poem meant to guide the listener through the feeling and experience of being Jim. Highlighted is the the traumatic experience he had as a child witnessing the aftermath of a car wreck. “Wooly cotton brains” being the innocence he lost when he had to confront death as a young individual. Lots of material here about LA experience in the 60’s

It was a poem that jim morrison wrote, about many things like "cotton brains of infancy" is the simplicty and unknowing of children. But the band found all of his recoded poetry about a decade after his death and wrote musoc to them to give fans a farwell even though it involved a member in the grave. R.I.P Jim

I just want to get this song started, but I think that it may be about someone's past (ie ghost). I know that it is connected to a lot of events in Jim Morrison's life, but I don't know much more. Anyone else want to help?
