The Fray: She Is Meaning
Song Released: 2007
She Is Lyrics
For now you're not here and I'm not there, it's like we're on our own
To figure it out, consider how to find a place to stand
Instead of walking away and instead of nowhere to land
This is...

This song really comes home for me with my current girlfriend.
He lives here, she lives there. They want to be together but are not sure when it can happen. There are events that must occur, like her divorce from her current husband who is dragging things out.
They are both talking about what it would be like to be together but they do not know the when. So the if has not become the when yet.
But he knows that all he wants is her because she is everything he knew he wanted as well as things he never knew he needed.
So when things are finally finished on her side and they finally can be as one, they will see the indication of their feelings together as one. -
This is about a " guy" and hes having a long distance relationship with a girl and he loves her and all
But the this other girl comes into the picture and he falls for her too and now hes trying to explain that its tearing him in two to try to choose between them and hes saying " do not get me wrong i cant wait for you to come home". And then she is everything and the song ends with she is everything so im guessing he chooses the new girl
It could just be him talking in two different tenses about one girl though.
