Four Winds Lyrics

Your class, your caste, your country, sect, your name or your tribe
There's people always dying trying to keep them alive
There are bodies decomposing in containers tonight
In an abandoned building where
A squatter's made a mural of a Mexican...

Its Psalm of man not sum of an or son of man just saying. My theory is that its a song about when the world ends, religion is needed for people to turn to, how people need religion, but it also says how religion will be the downfall of western society. People read too much into religion and take it literally. Its just stories meant to inspire hope not to influence peoples lives.

I am four winds. The Hebrew word for winds also means spirits but my cherokee name is four winds.

Actually it is "Sum of Man" not "son of man" if you listen to the original version it is clear to hear. :)

The lyrics actually "It's the SON of man." Not the sum of man.

But I think this song means that you can't find all of the truth from religion and you have to rely on other things. However you can't live without it either. You have to find the truth in yourself and religion.
