You guys are all wrong he’s using the fix related to sex with his girlfriend meaning that she is his fix and at the end mix says I feel all right now because he just had sex with her. It is related to heroin yes all the symptoms but that’s what this song is about saying that his girlfriend is his fix.

The song depicts how the singer has been conditioned into drug addiction in the same way dogs were conditioned to salivate at just the thought (caused by stimuli) of a treat by physiologist ivan pavlov. Also his drug addiction wouldn't let him go so in a way it called his name. Hence the lyric "yea when you call my name, I salivate like a pavlov dog".
