Millionaires Lyrics

They're kicking us out saying it's time to close
We're leaning on each other trying to beat the cold
Carry your shoes and I gave you my coat
Walking these streets like they're paved of gold
The any old excuse is not to go
Neither one of us...

I think the meaning of this song is, they got kicked out from a resort, and it is freezing cold outside. And then they become happy, laughing, spending times with each other and forget about bad times. And pretend they are millionaires
I think that what they are trying to say, is that even if something bad happened to you, You could make yourself happy even if your about to lose your temper over something, or your really sad.

That you may have a lot of money but you can't buy happiness & the good things in life come free.

He's singing it about Will.I.am because one of the lyrics is "they're playing our song" Will and Danny both did a song together. Plus last year Will and Danny were both known for spending a lot of time together after they were filming the voice. So that means that they would have ended up going out later to clubs or pubs. There are many more reasons why I think this is the meaning but it would take to long to write! :p

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
