It's saying that a person does not need to be formally educated in this world to make it far, as certain skills are taught through experience rather than from a book. Similarly, love cannot be explained and taught from book. A person has to experience it for themselves to truly understand what it means to love. Also people love in their own way and only a person's heart can determine if they love someone or not.
