Blinding Lights Lyrics

Yeah
I been tryna call
I been on my own for long enough
Maybe you can show me how to love, maybe
I'm going through withdrawals
You don't even have to do too much
You can turn me on with just a touch, baby
I look around and Sin City's cold...

To me, just seems the writer is talking about setting out for success, whether it's fame, money, power, etc. and feeling the emptiness and loneliness in this life's path. Longing for what he's left behind and/or getting back to that life.

this song is about escaping reality and under the influence of some real good drugs. The weeknd struggles to find love and acceptance from a woman he loves truly but realises he cant get back to her.He is pulled towards by women to finish their lustful desires and just for fame and money. He feels lost hopeless trying to run away from everything .

It’s about him singing about being on drugs and that only his significant other can make him feel safe and loved.

It's a person speaking on its significant other, comparing the effect they have on him to them lighting up his life.
