My Little Girl Lyrics

Gotta hold on easy as I let you go
Gonna tell you how much I love you, though you think you already know
I remember I thought you looked like an angel wrapped in pink, so soft and warm
You've had me wrapped around your finger since the day you...

This song is sooooo sad and makes me cry every time I hear it and I can't thank Tim McGraw enough for writing this song. It's a beautiful song that will tell you how your daughter is growing up fast and will soon leave you. In this case there will always be a path to come home if she needs it. She will always be a little girl to him and they will always come back to each other no matter what. In the song it tells you what they did when his daughter was little.

My father would play this in the car when I was younger. I knew why he played it. As I was in the back seat I would silently cry. And every time I listen to this song, I cry. This song touches me very deeply. This is a beautiful song.

This song is about a father(Tim McGraw) not wanting his daughter to grow up. He explains all the stuff they did together when she was younger. Like the “I Love You’s” and other things. Then he explains that no matter how old she is, his door will always be open for her. This is truly a very touching and beautiful song.

Tim McGraw is talking about his baby girl growing up and finding her other half. But he isn't sure if he wants her growing up too fast. He's mtrying to let her know that no matter where life takes her, his door is always open.

Tim McGraw doesn't want his daughter to grow up, move out, and get married. That's his only daughter and he wants the best for her.

This song is about a man (Tim McGraw, particularly) who has watched his daughter grow up from toddler to teenager. He doesn't want to let her go, but he knows she will let go someday. So he reminds her of all the sweet things they used to do when she was a little girl. Things like "I love you," and just certain things that make a father and daughter close. This song brings tears to my eyes. It is so touching!!

I cried when I first heard this song :'(

It's about a father who has watched his daughter grow from a little girl into an adult and how she will end up having a life of her own and get married.
He tells her to 'take on this whole world' but also to 'know the road that'll lead [her] home again'. He wants her to live her life and do all she wants but also to remember where her roots lie and know that she is always welcome back home.
