Twenty One Pilots: Message Man Meaning
Message Man Lyrics
Eh! Eh! Eh! Eh!
No no no no no no (Eh! Eh! Eh! Eh!)
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah (Eh! Eh! Eh! Eh!)
A loser hides behind a mask of my disguise,
And who I am today is worse than other times,
You don't know what I've done,...

#1 top rated interpretation:When I listened to this I listened to it on repeat for hours I realized that the message man is a friend of his and when he says " please use discretion when your messing with the message man these lyrics aren't for everyone only few understand" hes saying * be careful who you talk to and what you tell them because they are the "message man" kind of like the mail man, they will go and tell everyone what you said and when he said only few will understand he was saying that the only person/persons who will understand are the people who experienced the pain of the words of other people, because the people who go tell don't realize how much it hurts and they don't care.

#2 top rated interpretation:I feel like the meaning of the song is to show that people have many different layers to their personalities and that you don't have to put people down just cause they are either disabled or they have differences and that humanity is all one of each other. He even states that "You don't know my brain the way you know my name,
You don't know my heart the way you know my face"
This supports that humanity has many different layers like him. Along with that he states that to "Please use discretion when your messing with the message man". This means to stop picking on people because of what they say or in other words what the message man gives to others, to stop having biases, to try to actual think what others are saying. This way you can take in the info people like twenty one pilots are saying or trying to give to you. -
How I look at it is, the lyrics that Tyler wrote has a comma after the 'message'. So the song is 'please use discretion when you're needing with the message, man'. To me the message is the gospel. What I think Tyler means is, how Christianity has gotten jumbled up. The suicidal session is people who are putting down Christians by bullying them and tell ring them they should die. Well that's a smol thing about the chorus

I think that this song means like you shouldn't mess with someone for just the fun of it. Words hurt.
