3 Doors Down: Sarah Yellin' Meaning
Sarah Yellin' Lyrics
she knows, that what she says will change everything
shes laid, through to many sleepless nights
she's cryin, she's cryin, she's cryin
mother, that man took my soul away
father, how could you ever treat...
-
This one was kinda easy to explain... This song talks about a girl who is raped/molested by her father, mostly said in the lines -
mother, that man took my soul away - talking about the father.
Father, how could you ever treat me this way- quite simply put as how could you rape me.
Brother, don't ever let him do this again- don't let the father do what he's been doing again.
Then it speaks about how on one night, the girl killed her father by shooting him in the head.
