Song Released: 2020
Bummerland Lyrics
Bummerland, here I am
Better nix my summer plans
Bummerland, give a cheer
'Cause you're only going up from here
[Verse 1]

#1 top rated interpretation:I believe Bummerland is about covid and how the AJR brothers aren't going to let it stop them from enjoying life. Simple as that. When Adam, Jack, and Ryan all look up from their instruments, and Jack sings, "Bummerland, here I am!" The look on his face is really funny. His eyes are wide and he has a huge smile. You can tell that he's having fun and he isn't going to let covid stop him. Overall I think this is a really enlightening song. It just makes you feel good inside, and the music video definitely adds to that with all the funny moments.

Even when things go wrong you can take comfort and look forward to the fact that things will get better. Love how they take something like hitting rock bottom and turn it into the best thing that can happen to you because now you can finally leave all that behind. You now have the contrast to all your future successes and can truly appreciate them and the magnitude of how far you have come. Being broke with friends always treating you to bring successful enough to be buying them that first beer and being that"god-damn hero."
