Alan Walker: Routine Meaning
Song Released: 2016
Routine Lyrics
-
Although there are no lyrics, the scenes in the music video are subject to interpretations, too. In each of the music videos, it tells a story about something, may it be the solar flare story (All Falls Down, Darkside, and Diamond Heart) or another story (like The Faded or Alone). I believe that Routine may be some sort of a prequel to the solar flare story (for full info, search "Alan Walker Decrypted" on YouTube). Reasons? At various points throughout the video, there are lines streaking out from the Earth, gathering at something above the Earth. The "thing" is fairly obviously the solar flare, before it reaches Earth. The lines streaking from Earth is something that could stop it (though it's fairly obvious by All Falls Down that it didn't work). The "Level" indicator might mean the level of the solar flare-be it minor, major, or world-ending.
Hey, but that's a theory.
