All Time Low: Break Your Little Heart Meaning
Break Your Little Heart Lyrics
So predictable
You were fake, I was great
Nothing personal
I'm walking
Who's laughing now?
(Who's laughing, who's laughing now?)
I'm wasted, wasting time
You talk for hours
But you're wasting lines
A pretty face...
-
1. It's about how the outcast being thrown out by the popular and 'fake' kids at school, now, they are now having their comebacks to them.
2. A relationships by two person, the girl is fake actually and the guy hates the girl afterwards. -
The way I interpret this song (and I feel like an ass for saying this) is through my first relationship. I interpret the lyrics, "you were fake, I was great, Nothing personal," as me being someone who is fairly successfull in and out of school, I have a lot going for me and she didn't necessarily have all the advantages that I have. The lyrics, "I'm wasted, wasting time, you talk for hours, but you're wasting lines," became very accurate for me at a certain point in our relationship leading up to the point where I decided to break up with her. Obviously, the chorus is pretty self explanatory; I broke up with her and she didn't take it well. Of course, I joked around about it with my friends (I'm kind of ashamed to admit this, I didn't exactly handle the situation very well) which reminds me of the lyric, "laughin' all the way to the hospital."
The most importmant part of this song in terms of my interpration comes at the bridge between the last two choruses: "Don't be so sentimental, no
This is love is accidental, so
Give it up
This was never meant to be
More than a memory for you."
The whole relationship really started as an accident and when I look back on it, I realize that it wasn't the right match. I moved on pretty quickly but she had a pretty hard time with the whole mess. As a whole, I think that the general message of the song is that love isn't always meant to be and when you recognize that it isn't working, sometimes the best thing to do is to just let it end. -
Honestly i think this song is about holly Madison you know the playboy bunny jack dated because she was sentamental always looking for attention and jack well it was an accident i guess
-
This song is basically about a break up between a girl and a guy. The guy is going to 'break her little heart' because the girl is fake. Shes never been broken up with before, shes 'perfect' and hes going to prove that she isnt by breaking up with her. When he does she causes more drama (dont be so sentimental) & he says that they were never right for each other in the first place (this love was accidental.
idk, this is the way I see the song, I could be wrong but its pretty self-explanatory.
