All Time Low: For Baltimore Meaning
Song Released: 2012
For Baltimore Lyrics
I'm restless, obsessed with your future
And all my worries they don't bother you
Collected, you render me useless
But I carry on
Right now, I think that you think that I'm
Half drunk, searching for something...

#1 top rated interpretation:This is like my favorite song and it's basically an ode to All Time Low's hometown and the love discovered there. To me, the song is about a boy who is so in the moment and in love with this girl. The girl doesn't love him back, which is so sad because the song genuinely shows how in love he is with her, but they are just friends. They're out having a good time and they're so in the moment. The boy doesn't want to leave this in-the-moment feeling, hence the "Why can't Thursday last forever," which shows how he never wants this night to end. It is almost as if he has never lived before this night, and he is positive that she is the one. The girl is hesitant towards love because she must have had trouble with it in the past, but the boy tries to persuade her by telling her to make new memories, with him, so they can remember their hometown and how amazing it was. The two are falling in love in Baltimore.
To sum it up, the song is a really sweet song about falling in love and is also an ode to Baltimore, thanking it for the great memories it has provided. :) -

#2 top rated interpretation:One of the band members went to an educational summer program run by John Hopkins University, called Center for Talented Youth. It is often considered by its participants to be one of the most rewarding experiences and accepting communities they have ever had. One of the sites is in Baltimore, Maryland. The program ends on a Friday, hence "why can't Thursday last forever." Many of the students form lifelong friendships and relationships that do not end after the session, despite the distance.

Jimmy McShane was Gay, he came out to his family at a very young age, and the family had a hard time accepting that he was Gay......Jimmy moved from Ireland to London to study Dancing, then later ended up in Italy where Baltimora was formed.....to me, the song Tarzan Boy is about Coming Out Gay, and the difficulty at that time of finding other Gay people in the "urban jungles" of the World......

I think this song is about Alex and Lisa, when he wanted to get back into a relationship, she lived in baltimore when they first fell in love so it brings a lot of memories, about the video it clearl shows their start in high school and then Alex being a solid musician back in hometown.
-
its about a girl who he likes, she teaches him that he needs to use his talent, even though he's never thought about music as a career.
through the music video she is guiding him, until they reach the stage where he shows his passion, and the rose grows out his hand. -
I personally think that its about a boy who is infatuated with a girl. She obviously isn't returning his feelings and he wants her to so much. "Obsessed with your future" Might mean that he wants to be in her future or wants to know what will become of this girl that he's in love with so much. The girl only sees him as a friend, but he doesn't want the night to end because he's having such a rush. He isn't positive where she's going to be in the morning and if she's going to disappear from his life.

I reckon its just about young love and that they light up Baltimore when they are together; and the guy is trying to make the girl go out with him <3
