   The way i undertstand it, it's about a girl who has a hard time letting go of her ''bad'' past, but that she's still perfect with all her story.

   The metaphorical meaning to the phrase "Dirty Laundry" is "Private matters whose public exposure brings distress and embarrassment." According to that definition, it could be interpreted as a girl who has done bad things in the past, and now feels embarrassed over the things that she has done. She now wants to start over, so she doesn't have to feel distress over herself anymore. The metaphorical meaning to "Skeleton In The Closet" also translates to a discreditable or embarrassing fact that someone wishes to keep secret." In the beginning of the song, Alex states that, "Her closet's such a mess, filled up with all the skeletons she's kept."
   
   To explain the entire song, Dirty Laundry by All Time Low is written about a girl who has or is doing bad things to either herself or other people, she's keeping these secrets tucked away. The distress and embarrassment "Looks Good" on the girl that Alex is writing about.
