Make it a sweet, sweet goodbye.
It could be for the last time and it's not right.

    This song is about alex gaskarth's brother commiting suicide. (Alex is the lead singer of the band in case u didn't know) they were n a fight before so alex wrote this saying goodbye to his older brother. It contains actual lines from the suicide letter hence "don't let yourself get in over ur head,"he said... it's pretty obvious to tell from the song lyrics. it's an amazing song and atl is tight!!! After knowing the true meaning, the song is so much better

    Okay so here's the deal;
    alex gaskarth(singer of all time low;; AND my one true love)'s brother committed suicide.
    my guess is his brother left a suicide note and his death might have been partly alex's fault ::
    "I miss you I'm so sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry!"

    also, maybe a way of saying 'why did you do this to us!?' ::
    "don't you see you shot this family a world of pain?"
    this song might have the most powerful lyrics you'll ever come across.
    you should rlly check it out.

    rest in peace, alex gaskarth's bro (whatever yo name is lol)
    my heart goes out to the gaskarth family
    specially alex.
    im so sorry :[
