   I think she's talking about how much hate there is in the world now. She's singing remember all of these different things, like she's remembering all of the good times before hate took over."If we could all get along, then we all can sing this song", if we can put our differences aside then together we can make beautiful things happen

   I think this song is a lot like "price tag" for some reason. i think it's about everyone being as one in a community. that everyone should just, well, join hands. and stop the madness.
