So Fine Lyrics

Two drifters on the morning sky,
Two drifters sailing wide and high,
When summer breezes blow across your mind,
With you, I will walk the line.

I want it so fine
I want it so fine
I want it so fine

People walking hand in...

This song is about the fields where Jeff Lynne and Stephen Joseph Woollam, whose name was incorrectly spelled as Woolam on the band's first album, worked on music together. The fields are the Land of the Midnight Sun. Jeff missed his good friend, and the song is about his longing for what could have been with the band had Woollam not died. It's no coincidence this song precedes Livin' Thing, a song about a person taking a dive, what happened with Woollam's death.

This is about a couple of lovers who have gone to a local bay to have a picnic. They watch the day and everything that happens around them.
