Foo Fighters: Good Grief Meaning
Good Grief Lyrics
I handed down the crown, given the jewels and the answers of may
the thought of being ousted comes and goes
comes and goes
when I think about it the wind blows
I hate it...

I believe this was written during the final years with Nirvana when he was at odds with Kurt and always fearful Kurt would fire him. He has mentioned that several times in interviews and at one point even quit and then quickly changed his mind. “The thought of being ousted/comes and goes/when I think about it/the wind blows”

Good Grief was a song that dave growl wrote (every instrument and lyric) during the tours of Nirvanas Monster record "Nevermind". It could mean anything or nothing. A friend of mine said that its about suicide and how he masks his feelings but i think its just cool poetry. Who Knows? Ask the Mr.Grohl if you ever meet him.
