Halsey: Bad At Love Meaning
Song Released: 2017
Bad At Love Lyrics
And it tastes like Jack when I'm kissing him
So I told him that I never really liked his friends
Now he's gone and he's calling me a bitch again
There's a guy that lives in a garden state
And he told me that...

I think it's about a person who is so insecure that she sabotages relationships when she gets close to her partner and find ways to just unintentionally ruin them in various ways like jealousy and this keeps happening with every romantic relationship she had not she just frustrated with it because she wants love but she just can't sustain a relationship
-
My thought is that all of the relationships that she was in had all ended out the same. she thought that one guy that she dated would be a different person than the last guy but they were all basically the same.
-
I think its basically saying that you're bad at loving. Like all you're past relationships have had a lot of mistakes and a lot of those mistakes were repeated but you still keep trying and going. And maybe one day someone is gonna come around and fix you. Make it better.
-
You try to love but you never really feel a connection or spark you haven't really found the one that you can love.
-
My interpretation of the song Bad At Love is about how no matter how hard you try, you can't stay with someone. You might like someone and end up getting with them but after you do you start to loose the feelings you had for that person. You know that it happens every time but you do it over again and again with other people, never fixing the problem.
