   I know the song was meant to just appreciate the "now". The beauty in this moment right here. That's something I've always loved about this song, but now there's a different meaning for me. I lost my best friend on May 12, 2017 to a motorcycle accident. I miss him SO much. It's been over a month and there's times when I kinda don't think about him being gone every second of the day so "in this moment I am happy" resounds heavily with me. The last memory I have with him is in Half Moon Bay, CA at the beach and the whole song is about being by the ocean. "I wish you were here" has meaning to me for obvious reasons, I ALWAYS wish he was here.

   i believe this song is about meditation and having the right mindset i think that he is saying he wishes the whole world would join along and become happy and stop hating and live life.

   To me, it seems like the person spent the entire day at the beach looking out into open space. They obviously are noticing how beautiful the world can be, especially at a beach all day and all night.
   "I'm counting UFOs, signal them with my lighter." This implies that the person is apathetic with their future enough to where they could get the attention of a mysterious unidentified spacecraft and not care what would happen afterwards, all while admiring the beauty of the stars.
   Also hinting at the feelings of apathy towards the future and being lost at the moment is the lyrics "the world's a roller coaster and I am not strapped in. Maybe I should hold with care, but my hands are busy in the air."
   These lyrics seem to show that like a roller coaster's ups and downs, the world can work from one extreme to another. It seems like they had unexpectedly lost someone they truly loved and are dealing with the grief that comes along with it by looking at the things in life that are beautiful and accepting the fact that they are gone and in a better place. They simply wish that their loved one was there to enjoy the beauty with them.

   This song is about someone experiencing intense grief. They really miss the person but they know they must go on with their life and strive to be happy and sometimes they still are. There are accepting a sudden loose, possibly a tragic accident.

    This song is about an individual who basically is all by himself and living life but enjoying it. "Life is like a rollarcoaster and I'm not strapped in". basically life has my turns but he wishes that person he loves would be there with him to experience it with him.
