Killswitch Engage: Starting Over Meaning
Song Released: 2009
Starting Over Lyrics
Do you remember what we use to have
As if all our dreams were possible
All that existed was you and I
But distance has torn us apart
Forgive me for all that I´ve done wrong
Lead me back to where my heart belongs
Can we start...
-
it's about a couple who have broken up and the guy wishes he didn't treat her so bad(Forgive me for all that I´ve done wrong) and he loves her to much to let her go, so he wants to start over with her
-
The lyrics pretty much tell the story. It's about a couple (maybe Howards relationship at the time of the song) who broke up and Howard sings how he wants his significant other back because they had something so special and they mean more than anything to him.
This song totally describes what I'm going through right now except the love of my life is friends with me now but we have the potential of getting back togehter soon. (Hopefully)
