Killswitch Engage: As Daylight Dies Meaning
As Daylight Dies Lyrics
The rise and fall of all we are
Stands before us
This place is evil
Is there an answer?
This world is vile
We are the answer
How long until we die?
Die from the inside out
How much is enough...

As a writer a philosopher and a historian I've all but lost my entire music collection so it's hard to recall the details of many of these great songs I will have to listen to these again to get a refined crisper detail into the mind of the individuals writing. but it may have something to do with a last bit of light one might see before eclipsing the spirit and leaving this plane forever. all we know of this physical dimension though we are flesh and spirit and we're all racing quite fast to the other side .never taking time to find out who created and rules that plane, and knowing the moment the lights go out the opportunity has past.
with a flood impact of multiple emotions of fear relief Loss peace and sadness . But for some it is the absolute knowing of what's going on and the absolute Bliss that when the lights go out they're on their way home these few know where they're going and no who's there to receive them when daylight dies
