   well it is almost right, the whole story is that jon one day used some mascara-make up and went with it to school, it was just a kind of joke or "I try weird things when I'm young" But all the people at his school fucked him up because he probably looked silly

   I think the song is about people who used to make fun of him in school and they would call him names but I also think it is directed at a particular group of people that were making fun of him hints him saying walking stereotypes and him saying I just want to fuck a girl and at the end saying you motherfucking queers and also if he were just taking up for homosexuals I don’t think he would be married twice to a woman and also I think he spelled it with a E because he came from a hickish kind of place and that’s his way of getting back at where he came from hints the misspelling

   I think JD is just thoroughly beating a dead horse. He may be alluding to a past experience in which he was raped by a closeted homosexual- who was himself afraid of ridicule, and became a bully. Or he might just be screaming "FAGGOT" over and over again to embarrass anyone who has just bought the album and is blasting it in heavy traffic whilst traversing a politically correct metropolitan area.
   If you are trying to create understanding for better interactions between confused teens, then obtuse lyrics aren't the best route. These are esoteric concepts for even adults of this era, why obfuscate things further with "rage-poetry" vomited onto a track that's melodically challenged at best, and say it tells a story?
   I think it tells a story of a man who is trying too hard.

   The thoughtless video does have what this song is about, but thoughtless pretty much has the same meaning. It's about being in highschool and having people pretty much beat on you and meke you feel like crap because you aren't like everyone else. & the exact same thing happened to JD, he was called faget .. and wasn't he called "HIV" or something?     I agree with the person above me. Thoughtless shows exactly what this song means. just think about your high school days whether your still in or have already graduated. its about people in society being judged. It doesn't matter where you come from what you do, if you get a label, then thats what everyone will continue to see you as even if you happen to change over time. yeah, shit happens. Faget represents something we have been called before. it may be bitch, whore, [any racial slur], cunt, etc. Words can sometimes hurt way more than actual blows to your body. So it's just what you take out of it. This is a song about the trials we have faced, or are still experiencing.
