Korn: Hey Daddy Meaning
Hey Daddy Lyrics
All my life has been (taken)
Taken
This demon (haunts me)
Haunts me
They’re waiting (help me)
Help me
You fuck me up
I'm gagged and bound
You pick me up
When I am down
I cannot live without them
I...

So.Hey Daddy not "Daddy" different darker song than this one. Is about Jonathan talking to himself in the third person. As his schizophrenic demons called him "Daddy" as sexual as that sounds."I cannot live without them! I do not live without them." Is him talking about the demons.
"You fuck me up!" Is him talking about the babysitter that r'd him. -
most of this actually does sound about right. not saying I'm right but I had heard it was about his step mother not only molested him also she would physically abuse him. I had heard a story she would put like some kind of super hot stuff in his food constantly and it was little things that he couldn't prove so the chorus "Hey Daddy" is supposed to almost sound like a cry for help

This song is a mixture of 1. how he'd get choked and raped by his neighbor 2. his self induced schizophrenia from when he worked at a morgue as a young man 3. and his drug addictions, in which only drugs would melt these things together which further created this song. P.S the songs called hey daddy cause his dad never listened to him about his neighbor rapeing him.

By the lyrics, it seems Jonathan is talking about demons, and trust me I have a lot of them. A demon may be something you are addicted too. Maybe Jonathan was taking a pill to calm his nerves or was peer pressured into doing and it was controlling him and he could not live without them.... And didn't live without them meaning he was addicted and needing the pills, alcohol, or any other drug he was on at the time maybe it was a prescription that treated schizophrenia and he could not live without.
But I am a huuuuuge fan of jd and can relate to his lyrics naturally without having to think too hard about it... -
Basically it is about Jon being raped/molested as a kid and he is trying to get his dad to understand. Jon said in an interview that the predator was a WOMAN and not his dad like some believed, however, he said his father didn't believe him because the person was a close family friend and neither has said who it was.
