Korn: Make Me Bad Meaning
Song Released: 2000
Make Me Bad Lyrics
There's so much shit around me.
Such a lack of compassion.
I thought it would be all fun and games (would be fun and games).
Instead it's all the same (it's all the same).
I want something to...

1TOP RATED
#1 top rated interpretation:i think this song is about being addicted having sex with groupies. Jonathan tells himself he shouldn't, but he does it anyway. afterwards he regrets what he has done.
"I feel the reason as it's leaving me, no, not
again.
It's quite deceiving as I'm feeling the flesh make
me bad."
"I know your fix, you need it to
Just to get some sort of attention, attention."
i hear this line differently,. my interpretation is:
"I need a fix, you need it too,
Just to get some sort of attention, attention."
Jonathan needs his fix, the girl needs the attention of a famous rockstar.
"What does it mean to you?
For me it's something I just do.
I want something.
I need to feel the sickness in you"
now he is questioning the girl's motives. To him it's just sex but to her it's more than that.
the "sickness" is a reference to vagina. when I saw Korn live Jonathan did the "fingering" motion to the crowd as he sang this line, which kind of backs up this theory a bit.
Jonathan feels he is playing around with girl's emotions by having sex with them. To him it is just sex, and then he will forget about them. He feels remorseful for his actions, but can't stop doing it.
"Does it make me bad?" -
in my perception this songs talking about religions. the doctors who had came to meet them reminds me a nun and a priest (their dresses) ,,, they fed religious stuffs in their brain,,and they went crazy.in climax the lady doctor who favoring humanity taking out stuff inserted by those doctor and the patience feels normal...religion makes you sick

its about jerking off.
-
It's about him cheating on his wife, with groupies maybe, if you listen too him sing it live the chorus is " I feel the seaman as its leaving me no not again" instead of reason, and I read somewhere that the label made him change it to reason for the CD, so ya that's what I'm almost positive it's about

I think there's a difference between what the songs about and what it was inspired by. this song I think was inspired by him getting shit for doing groupies, but is about doing something "bad" that you don't see as bad and people calling you bad for doing it. So he is asking does doing all this stuff make me bad?
-
This song is about, In general, Jon doing any groupie who wants it.
-
Its about how is own addictions and struggles lock him inside a world he can't get out of.
He is driving himself crazy -
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
