Maroon 5: Just A Feeling Meaning
Just A Feeling Lyrics
Bathed in sunlight
By the bathroom door
You said you wished you did not love me anymore
You left your flowers in the backseat of my car
The things we said and did have left permanent scars
Obsessed depressed at the same...

This song to me is about two people that were madly in love with each other and over time feelings changed and I think that it’s about the heart ache that both people are feeling. When my ex husband and I separated and then divorced this song described perfectly to a “T” what I was feeling and going through. Even though this is a sad song to me it’s so beautiful.

The girl broke up with him because she felt like he hasn't been who she fell in love with. She might feel like he's void and empty because when she looks into his eyes, she sees him so hollow and gone. She fights him, hitting a low, and then wants him back. She hates the fact that she still loves him. They're both depressed about the way things are. Even though she loves him, she has to let him go because of the way he's mentally not there anymore. He knows and can feel that it's over. He can't believe it. His girlfriend tried really hard to save their relationship but it takes two. He tells her he gave her everything he had, putting all his effort into their love, but she doesn't buy it. He doesn't want it to end. He's still lying in the dark crying in his bed over the breakup. He wants her to undress and make love to him, confirming she's still his. It ends with he can't believe it's over, indicating she has left him for good.

to me the song could mean two things. its about a break up and he can see in her eyes that she wants to leave but she loves him but wishes she didn't and he can see that and hes getting a feeling that she wants to leave. or the second meaning could be that love is just a feeling and he cant believe that they are over.
